This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") explains what you can and cannot do on RUSH. It works alongside our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines and applies to all use of the app, website, and related services.
Quick Read
- RUSH is for adults 18 and older only.
- Your account and profile must be truthful and represent you.
- Public-facing content must remain non-explicit.
- Harassment, scams, location abuse, commercial solicitation, and illegal activity are prohibited.
- Serious violations can lead to permanent bans and law enforcement referral.
1. Eligibility and Identity
You Must
- be at least 18 years old;
- provide accurate identity and account information;
- use photos that accurately represent you; and
- use the Service only for yourself.
You Must Not
- misrepresent your age, identity, location, or appearance;
- create accounts for other people;
- use someone else’s photos without permission;
- impersonate another person or entity;
- maintain multiple accounts to manipulate the Service; or
- use RUSH if you have already been banned.
2. Profile and Media Standards
Public-Facing Content
Public areas include your profile, the grid, and Right Now.
Allowed
- Clear face or body photos of yourself
- Shirtless photos
- Underwear or swimwear photos that are not explicit
- Artistic nudity that does not show genitals
Not Allowed
- Explicit sexual acts or pornography
- Visible genitals, penetration, or masturbation
- Sexualized nudity designed to evade policy
- Fetish content that would reasonably be viewed as explicit
- Images containing minors in any context
- Hidden-camera or non-consensual imagery
- Violence, gore, or exploitation
- Hateful symbols or threatening weapon displays
- Photos that are not of you
Private Contexts
Private albums and direct messages may contain explicit adult content only when:
- everyone involved is an adult;
- everyone involved has consented; and
- the content is legal and otherwise consistent with our policies.
Private content is still subject to automated safety scanning, user reports, and human moderation review.
Moderation Consequences
- Explicit public content may be removed immediately.
- First violations may result in warnings and content removal.
- Repeated or severe violations may result in suspension or permanent ban.
- CSAM, non-consensual imagery, and similar zero-tolerance violations may be escalated to law enforcement.
3. Behavioral Standards
All use of RUSH must be consensual and respectful.
Required Conduct
- Respect stated and implied boundaries.
- Stop contact when asked, blocked, or clearly ignored.
- Ask before sending explicit content.
- Be honest about your intentions.
Prohibited Conduct
- Harassment, intimidation, threats, or bullying
- Hate speech or discrimination
- Doxxing or disclosure of private information
- Blackmail, extortion, or coercion
- Grooming behaviors
- Pressure for photos, personal information, or meetups
- Continued contact after someone has blocked you or asked you to stop
- Outing someone’s LGBTQ+ status, HIV status, or other private information
Communication Abuse
You may not use RUSH for:
- spam or mass messaging;
- phishing or deceptive links;
- fraud or scams;
- misrepresentation of material facts;
- scripts, bots, or automated outreach; or
- sharing private conversations or images without consent.
4. Location Features
RUSH uses approximate location to support discovery features, including nearby distance displays and Right Now.
Allowed Use
- Viewing approximate nearby activity as presented by the Service
- Using location controls provided in the app
Prohibited Use
- Inferring or calculating someone’s exact GPS coordinates
- Using multiple positions or reference points to triangulate someone
- Tracking, stalking, or monitoring another user
- Using location information to harass, threaten, or harm someone
Users who abuse location features may be permanently banned and, where appropriate, reported to law enforcement.
5. Commercial Activity
RUSH is not an escort, solicitation, or marketplace platform.
Prohibited Commercial Uses
- Offering or requesting paid sexual services
- Seeking or sending money, gifts, or cryptocurrency
- Advertising products, services, paid content, or external platforms
- Recruiting users for jobs, schemes, or external services
- Offering or seeking sugar arrangements
If RUSH introduces approved commercial features in the future, those features will be governed by separate terms.
6. Prohibited Content and Activity
Zero-Tolerance Violations
The following may result in immediate permanent ban and referral to law enforcement:
- CSAM or any sexual content involving minors
- Non-consensual intimate imagery
- Credible threats of physical violence
- Human trafficking or exploitation
- Terrorism-related content or support
Also Prohibited
- Illegal content or illegal activity of any kind
- Drug sales or promotion
- Weapons sales or trafficking
- Malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Hacking, intrusion, or unauthorized access attempts
- Promotion or facilitation of criminal acts
- Content that infringes intellectual property rights
7. Technical Restrictions
You may not:
- scrape, crawl, or data mine RUSH;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service;
- create bots or automated accounts;
- use unauthorized APIs or third-party tools;
- evade blocks, suspensions, or bans;
- interfere with RUSH infrastructure or operations;
- attempt to access another user’s account; or
- exploit bugs or vulnerabilities for any purpose other than responsible disclosure.
Security Research
We support good-faith security research. If you identify a vulnerability, contact security@feeltherush.app. We will not pursue legal action against researchers who:
- report vulnerabilities privately before disclosure;
- avoid unnecessary access to user data; and
- avoid service disruption.
8. Reporting Violations
How to Report
- Use the in-app reporting tools on a profile, message, or photo.
- Select the category that best fits the issue.
- Include context or evidence when possible.
Your Responsibilities
- Report violations in good faith.
- Provide accurate information.
- Do not use reporting tools to harass or retaliate against others.
What Happens Next
- Reports enter moderation review.
- We assess context, severity, and history.
- We take action based on policy and risk.
- We do not disclose actions taken against another user.
9. Enforcement Framework
RUSH may, at its sole discretion:
- remove content;
- issue warnings;
- restrict features;
- suspend an account temporarily;
- ban an account permanently; or
- refer matters to law enforcement.

Appeals
RUSH is not required to offer a formal appeals process. In exceptional circumstances, you may contact support@feeltherush.app, but reinstatement is not guaranteed.
Transparency Limits
We are not obligated to disclose:
- internal moderation methods;
- evidence used in a decision;
- actions taken against another user; or
- detailed reasons beyond a general policy category.
10. Account Removal
Accounts may be removed for:
- violations of this AUP or other RUSH policies;
- safety risks to other users;
- repeated lower-level violations;
- suspected underage use;
- ban evasion; or
- any other reason permitted by applicable law and our Terms of Service.
11. LGBTQ+ Safety Considerations
RUSH serves a global LGBTQ+ community, including users in regions with heightened legal or social risk.
Our Commitments
- approximate location display and fuzzing;
- privacy controls for sensitive profile fields;
- the option to hide from Right Now; and
- careful review of requests that appear designed to target LGBTQ+ users.
User Responsibilities
Users in sensitive regions should exercise caution, share personal details selectively, and understand that local authorities may compel data disclosure in some circumstances.
Discrimination against LGBTQ+ users, including discrimination based on HIV status, is prohibited.
12. Updates
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes may be announced through the app or website.
Continued use of RUSH after an update means you accept the revised policy.
